The twin giant corn cobs that always left an impression on me, Marina City in Chicago. 60 storeys tall, built in 1964, it is another building designed by a student of Mies van der Rohe, Bertrand GoldBerg. Marina City is a multi-use complex, including 18 stories of parking spaces, which appears to be not for the faint of heart:
