One building not seen in Independence Day, (but was featured in the Truman Show posters) (!), is one of the classiest skyscrapers...the first building for architects Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates, and a favorite among Chicagoans and architecture critics...the one and only
333 Wacker Drive.
I had a hand in the wind tunnel tests on this 1983 building, and was always enomored at the beautiful lines. Gotta make it to Chicago one day.
333 Wacker is 36 floors tall, and measures 87.3 smoots +/- an ear.
