1. Turn on EEZ Boundaries only. COUNTRY BOUNDARIES have yellow borders, JOINT EEZ borders are green, and DISPUTED areas have red borders. Turn OFF the entire borders layer. This will appear as shown in the above posting which contains the download file.

  2. Then, turn ON the Google Earth International Borders to see how the EEZs extend the land borders:



  3. Turning ON the Google Earth Coastlines is probably a needless visual confusion.



  4. The Global Multilingual Placenames (now in 80 languages) have been upgraded to include the maritime labels, so get the starter set in English,



    or Russian,



    or your other favorite language.
