Thanks for the info - can't seem to make it work in practice though so any more info on how to actually set up the second PC would be great. To answer your question though, I live in Africa and use google earth off line when travelling in the bush to see if there is a route / road to where I want to go. Obviously the info has to be cached on the PC first but believe me it really works and is real cool when you get lost / can't find a route. I use it in conjunction with my Garmin GPS which is why I upgraded to Plus. I could use the "free" version but then won't be able to import my GPS tracks / routes & waypoints.

Any info on what I have to do to get Plus going on my laptop would be great - obviously I know my user name & password and have a key for the desktop PC - what key do I use for the laptop cause the original key doesn't work!
