The vietnamese Kim Son Temple Zen Buddhist monastery rests in the Santa Cruz mountains between Morgan Hill and Watsonville. There are two ways to access the temple: Redwood Retreat Road to Mount Madonna Road is unpaved and best suited to horses. Auto traffic should use Hecker Pass HWY 152 to Pole Line Road, keeping straight onto Summit Road at the stop sign near the big gnarly tree. Although the website http://www.kimson.org/ is vietnamese language only, you'll find the monks are all students of the English language and quite eager to practice on you!!
