Close, but no cigar.

I didn't find the overhead photo of the sinkhole that you overlaid on GE; the one you show on your blog. But, the photos I did find show me that unless that spot was changed radically since the GE images were taken, you're not in the right spot.

With the lack of details in the reports (all I could find was that it is in the San Antonio neighborhood), and the scarcity of maps of the area, I think it would be a nice treasure hunt for we GE'ers to try and find that spot in GE.

That building with the white roof and the curved wall should help us find it.

One interesting note. I've seen on TV and in some reports that about a dozen houses were lost down that sinkhole. But, when you look at the photos, you'll see that only a few rooms from one "house" were lost. The sinkhole took out a portion of a walled-in bare yard and part of a street. Those people who died were really unlucky.
