Henrique,

Please attach the file you are trying to convert and we will take a look.

The conversion tool does not require you to type in the latitude and longitude. It is possible in both of our tools to place a placemark in google earth at the location you wish a model to appear and use this to locate your model or converted 3ds file. After placing the placemark, copy the placemark to the copy buffer(Right Mouse Context Menu Copy or Edit Copy). In the converter(and in the modeller) put the cursor in the latitude or longitude field and do Ctlr V. This will take the placemark from the copy buffer and load it into the tool. Then use the tool as you have before to convert the file.

A bug was reported several weeks ago with Southern Hemisphere models that has been resolved and a patch will be available very shortly.

There have been several comments about size of models that can be converted with our conversion tool. Our tool tries to render 3ds files without the triangles associated with other 3ds conversion tools and as such requires more memory. If you have a tool like 3D Studio Max a better option maybe to export IGES files(which has a non triangulated file format). I hope this helps.

Please keep the comments coming.
