OK, let's travel to Alabama and visit the Horton Mill Covered Bridge...the second longest in the state. Here is a caption from my website:

Here is the Horton Mill Covered Bridge located north of Oneonta. The bridge was built in 1935 and is a Town Truss Construction. It is 220 feet long and spans the Black Warrior River. This historic bridge, along with the Swann-Joy and Easley Covered Bridges, are still open to single lane traffic. Forget driving though , for I like walking through and looking down at the water below and beyond.
