There is also multicolor geography in the south part of San Francisco Bay. These are the salt evaporation ponds. Some of the red ponds are that color due to the incredible number of brine shrimp thriving in the waters. The green, white, and red remind me of the flag of Italy. Maybe I'll have a calzone for lunch!
