My dear Mark, there was not a war, there was a conflict, and the Argentinian goverment wasn't representative of the people.
There was a militar goverment financed by the USA !!!.
Instead of the conflict's result, like many other places in the world, where the powerful countries takes lands, people, petroleum, etc, from other countries named "weak", but everybody knows that those Islands belong to Argentina, and there are 40 million people waiting for the weakness of England to pay back they 1982 journey to the south.
All the empires in the history went down, and for the British will be the same, sooner or later ...
