Seems like another chapter of the never ending "Falkland-Malvinas" novel...
Let's face the facts that Argentine invade the islands encouraged by the US government.
It's imposible to agree who were right and who were wrong. It was the lastest conflict of its type and was the testing field of some new weapons (such Exocet, etc).
Both sides are right on their thinking. Britons answered the call to protect the islands and the kelpers. Argies couldn't miss the chance to recover them and get the approval of the angry people.
They got their interest, their goals and after all, everything turned clear to UK and the worst to Argentina.
I'm argentine and my father was in that war. That doesn't makes me hate britons, on the contrary, I support their soldiers the way I do with the argies.
They were just "tools" of the governments in both sides. Thatcher or Galtieri may have been in the good or the wrong way, I don't know.
I just know that the Islands should be a part of Argentine because I believe it and historical papers claimed that. UK can do their part, ok, and islanders too, perfect, but this won't shut up our voice claiming our islands.
Thanks for the pictures!
