I also started having this problem about 10 hours ago. I also have shut off firewall and run current AVg and spybot and adaware to no avail. When I tried to download again, was greeted with the message:
We're sorry...
... but we can't process your request right now. A computer virus or spyware application is sending us automated requests, and it appears that your computer or network has been infected.
Shouldn't something be added to the description of 20717 to reflect this? I know my machines are okay, but what does it mean by "network"? My ISP? Somewhere in the chain to get to GE? What should I do about it, just wait? If so, how long, a day, a week?
