Click on the satellite button. If nothing shows up it's the same problem.
Been fixed though so I don't think that will be it. I think a lot of people may now have problems due to Katrina just like that happened after 9/11. Whole servers are missing so if your isp is routing threw one of those it will time out.

Now if that is the problem as in no satellite images don't show up reboot your router and modem if you have one and then reboot the computer.




I'm able to get the satellite images from maps.google.com.
I've also read the support docs and checked whether Norton is somehow blocking Google Earth( it is not)
I've tried turning off the spyware & virus protection software I have running, but that hasn't helped
I had the problem on a previous version of GE, and still have it after upgrading to the latest version.

I'm having the problem on two separate computers, one running GE+ and one running GE.

Do we know the URL that GE is trying to reach? The error msg isn't very helpful.
